Women of St. Francis Church, this is for you! We are launching a new ministry open to all women of the church, designed to strengthen faith, build friendships, and support one another as we follow Christ together.

Many years ago, St. Francis church had a woman’s group, Episcopal Church Women, or ECW. Several women of the church have talked about beginning a new woman’s group in the church and one that would be faith-centered and encouraging to all of us. Those conversations inspired the creation of “Women, Worship and Wine”.

Our first meeting of “W3” will be Tuesday, February 3rd at 5:30pm at the home of Gail Avots, 4910 Ascot Parkway Temple, TX. We are so fortunate to be able to host at this first meeting Dr. Patsy Sulak, a BS&W OB/GYN physician, who is nationally known for her programs on women’s wellness. Dr. Sulak will be presenting on Spirituality: The Ruler of Our Well-Being. Patsy is not only a dynamic speaker; her positive, encouraging spirit truly uplifts others.

Please come to this first meeting with some ideas of what you’d like to study to deepen your faith. We’ll have fun while getting organized and we’d love to hear your ideas.

This ministry is for every woman in the church-newcomers, longtime members, young and seasoned alike. If you are looking for meaningful connection, spiritual growth, and shared encouragement, we invite you to join us as we begin this journey together.

We’ll have appetizers and wine as well as non-alcoholic choices.
