Introducing the Cub Scout Pack

Meet Our Youngest Scouts: The Cub Scout Pack! Saint Francis is proud to charter Cub Scout Pack 153, our program for the youngest members of the Scouting family. This program is all about fun, family, and age-appropriate adventure.
• Ages/Grades: Kindergarten through 5th Grade (approx. ages 5-10)
• The Program: Kids join a den (a small group usually by grade level) and the whole family is encouraged to participate. The program uses games, crafts, sports, and outdoor activities to build character, citizenship, and personal fitness.
• Key Activities: Pinewood Derby (building and racing model cars), Blue & Gold Banquet, family camping, earning Belt Loops and Adventure Pins as they advance through the ranks of Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, WEBELOS, and Arrow of Light.
• Our Goal: To provide a strong foundation for young people in a safe, fun, and inclusive environment, with a focus on family involvement and doing one’s best.

Saint Francis sponsors a Scouts BSA Troop.

This is the classic Scouting program known for developing ethical leadership and love for the outdoors.
• Ages: Ages 11 through 17
• The Program: Scouts elect their own leaders and plan their own activities, fostering responsibility and confidence. This is where Scouts learn to camp, hike, and lead their peers.
• Key Activities: Backpacking, camping, service projects, and earning Merit Badges (ranging from First Aid to Aviation). This program features the journey to Scouting’s highest rank: Eagle Scout.
• Our Goal: To instill values like the Scout Oath and Law, and prepare young people to become responsible, participating citizens and leaders in their communities.
