Each year, we collect toys for the Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Hospital Child Life Program. Donated toys are given as gifts to children who are hospitalized during the holiday season, helping bring comfort and joy during a difficult time. Any additional toys collected are used throughout the year for patients undergoing challenging medical procedures.

Toy donations may be placed in the collection tubs located in the narthex. All donated items are delivered directly to the hospital for distribution by the Child Life Program staff.

To help keep all patients safe and reduce the risk of infection, please follow these guidelines when donating:

  • All items must be brand new and in their original packaging
  • No homemade items or cards
  • No gift cards or food items
  • Donations should be developmentally appropriate for children and teens ages 0–18
  • Please do not gift-wrap donated items

For patient privacy and safety, the hospital does not allow volunteers to enter patient care areas to deliver gifts personally.

These donations help bring smiles to children during the holidays and provide comfort and encouragement throughout the year.
