After a hiatus of several years, we are back on track to celebrating the Feast of St.
Francis, albeit several days late this year!


We will start with our annual Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, October 17, at 9:00
am. Be sure to bring your pet(s) or a proxy (picture or stuffed replica) and join in this
joyous event. Amazingly, all the animals manage to behave, as do their folks. The
Scouts will be on site with Pet Emergency Kits for sale and the Gift Shop will have
blessing tags available!


Saturday evening we will have a Catered Dinner and a silent auction reminiscent of the
old days! The dinner is by donation, but we will need to have RSVP’s to know how
much food, wine & beer to order. Final date will be announced.


Be thinking about what you can give for the Silent Auction. If you do a handicraft or like
to throw dinner parties, these always go over well!
