This upcoming holiday season we are again collecting toys for the Baylor, Scott and White’s McLane Children’s Hospital Child Life Program. The toys we donate will be given as presents to children who are hospitalized during the holidays. Any additional toys collected will be distributed to patients undergoing difficult medical procedures throughout the year.

We will be collecting toy donations in the tubs in the narthex beginning this Sunday, November 23rd through Thursday, December 18th. We will be delivering the toys to the hospital at an appointed time on Friday, December 19th.

Some of the patients are very sick and the following guidelines keep all safe and reduce the risk of infection:

-Make sure all items are brand new and in original packaging.

-No home-made items or cards.

-No gift cards or food items.

-Donations should be developmentally appropriate for ages 0-18.

-Please do not gift wrap donated items.

-To protect our patient’s privacy and safety, the hospital does not allow us into the patient care areas to deliver gifts personally.

These items help bring smiles to the children at the holidays and all year long.
